Jeanie is a wiz at using and making collage art look easy and good. Would you believe that the background is stamped and not a beautiful paper she bought? She started by choosing a sepia toned cardstock and cut it down to 2.5 by 3.5″. She then stamped Prickley Pear’s Clock Face and Bingo Card Stamp onto the surface with black ink and at a diagonal.
The flower on the card started off a as a white silk flower. She used her copic marker and colored the petal tips of the flower and then sprayed with rubbing alcohol. As the flower drys the alcohol makes the ink bleed giving the flowers a soft blended color. Trust us when we say it is super fun and easy to do.
Jeanie then stamped a face from the Faces stamp set onto white shrink plastic. She then colored in the eyes green and lips pink with her copic markers. Once shrunk and cooled, she placed a rhinestone for a tear and adhereed to the center of the flower. This is such a beautiful and fun little project, we just had to share!
Here is another stunning example of turning those plain silk flowers turned into beautiful flowers that can you can have color coordinate with any project you are working on.
