Another Beautiful Sample

We had too much fun creating this stunning card. Below are instructions for how to create this card.

First we started with blue card stock trimmed to 5.5 by 8.5. Fold in half.

Next start with a panel of 4″ by 5″ watercolor paper. Tear the edges of the watercolor paper down to 4.25″ by 3.25″. Once torn we sprayed different colors of Shimmering Mist by Luminarte onto the paper.

Once watercolor paper is dry, stamp asian text onto surface with VersaFine black ink. We did not ink up our stamp between stamping the image onto surface. This allowed the ink to fade out between pressings.

Set aside, and stamp the Geisha Portrait onto watercolor paper. Paint with Twinklink H2O’s. Let dry and trim close to the image, leaving no border.

Wrap two pieces of 3″ brass wire into shapes as shown. Adding beads along the way. Attach the two pieces of wire with a jump ring. Layer and adhere to card face as show with E6000. Once Geisha image is dry, adhere to bottom right corner of painted panel as shown.

Thanks for looking! And happy stamping!
